The Bishop is pleased to announce that The Reverend Canon Sarah Hillman Vicar of the rural benefice of Puddletown, Tolpuddle and Milborne with Dewlish and Rural Dean of Dorchester Deanery in the diocese of Salisbury has been appointed as Rector of the Ledbury & Eastnor Benefice. The appointment is subject to a successful DBS check and other preliminaries. The Bishop hopes to licence Sarah on 3rd November 2026 at St Michael’s Ledbury at 7pm, this will be confirmed once the necessary appointment checks have been made

Tony Hodder arrived in Ledbury in December 2012. He is has two children, Emmy and Reuben. He was ordained as a Pioneer Minister and is keen to explore new ways in which the church can adapt to meet the needs of and be part of, today’s community. Prior to ordination he managed a drop-in centre in Hereford working with and supporting teenagers and young adults. Tony continues to be excited at being part of the church and wider community in Ledbury. Tony leads the local ecumenical charity LEAF (Locally Encouraging All to Flourish)
